Inspired by Dutch irises and Van Gogh's paintings of the flowers, this is a truely stunning cake.

The sugar flowers are life-sized, giving you some impression of the size of this cake. The decoration on the sides of the three cuboid cakes is made from sugar worked directly onto the side of the cakes. Detailed piping further enhances the design.

This cake won a silver medal at Le Salon Culinaire International de Londres.
